Evanston, IL – KNAUER GmbH from Berlin, Germany and TechniKrom, Inc. today announced that they have entered into an alliance agreement. TechniKrom will exclusively represent KNAUER’s larger Preparative LC and SMB equipment in the US, while KNAUER will provide sales, service and technical support for TechniKrom’s European client base.
TechniKrom has a worldwide installed base of cGMP manufacturing scale chromatography, buffer dilution, and other biopharmaceutical processing equipment. “We are thrilled to provide our European clients with a local resource for technical sales and service through our alliance with KNAUER,” said TechniKrom President and founder, Lou Bellafiore. “Not only is KNAUER renowned for their innovative LC and SMB equipment designs, but they will bring their decades-long knowledge base of technical support know-how to our European users.” The alliance also strengthens KNAUER’s presence in the large US market. “TechniKrom is a well-known and trusted name in the US,” said KNAUER CEO and Owner, Alexandra Knauer. “Our preparative scale LC and SMB equipment is a perfect complement to their larger manufacturing scale equipment line, and we see this alliance as a prime opportunity to grow in this important market.”
Further, as part of the alliance, Knauer and TechniKrom will partner to create a range of large scale SMB equipment solutions for clients worldwide.
